My hometown is Longmont, CO, I lived there from the time I was in
kindergarten til I graduated from LHS in 1989.
I went to Creighton University in 1989-90, then the next three years I
was a Razorback baby! Broadcast journalism major, political science
minor.
I started in 1992 as the intern at WMAR TV Channel 2 in Baltimore
covering the Orioles, their first year in Camden Yards. Pretty sweet.
Ripken was still really good, heck the TEAM was actually okay. I came
back to Fayetteville and worked at KUAF on weekends running Car Talk
and Whatya Know? part time.
I do few things. Everything for me is my family and my show, in that
order. I have Jack every day right after school, and its all about his
homework, taekwondo, friends, TV and hanging out with him, Judy and
Mekenzie and Larissa, our daughters. Other than that its my show,
which I own, produce, perform, sell and eat, sleep and breathe.
My philosophy on life? "Its better to ask forgiveness than permission."
FAQs......uh......Where'd (fill in the blank partner from my past) go?
Or "how'd you get started?" Or "how can I get a cool gig like that?"
Or "who all knows the Dead Guy in the Envelope?"
My favorite thing about NW Arkansas is the passion everyone here has
about being an Arkansan or Razorback. There's so much pride.
